The Fort Hays State women's cross country team closed out the 2010 season on Saturday, November 20 at the South Central Regional in Warrensburg, Mo. The Tigers finished seventh out of 19 teams competing in the event.
Senior Hali Mobley paced the Tigers, finishing in 27th in a time of 23:41.68 at the 6K distance. Heidi Hines, who led the Tigers at the conference meet two weeks ago, finished close behind in 30th with a time of 23:48.14.
Raven Boettger (47th - 24:15.57), Amie Algrim (49th - 24:17.52) and Gentry Linscott (59th - 24:38.98) rounded out the scorers for FHSU.
MIAA Champion Pittsburg State won the race as the only team to eclipse 100 points with 66. Midwestern State (Texas) was the other qualifying team in second with a score of 108. Fort Hays State finished with a team score of 210.
