The Fort Hays State women's cross counry team was in Stillwater, Okla. on Saturday morning, Sept. 25 to compete in the 74th Annual Cowboy Jamboree. The Tigers raced in the college division, placing 3rd among 30 teams from Division II, NAIA, and Junior College.
Leading the way for the Tigers with a 6th place finish was senior
Hali Mobley, who covered the 5 kilometer course in 19:15.15. Senior
Amie Algrim was the next finisher, in 21st place with a time of 19:52.19.
Sophomore
Gentry Linscott finished 33rd, freshman
Hannah Robinson was 51st, and junior
Heidi Hines was 65th to complete the scoring for FHSU.
The team score of 170 for the Tigers placed them behind Midwestern State and Cowley College (Kan.)
The next varsity action for the Tigers will be at home on Oct. 16 as they host the FHSU Tiger Open starting at 9 am.

Raven Boettger finished 5th in the 5 kilometer race, finishing in a time of 22:15.
