The Fort Hays State University cross country squad held the annual FHSU Alumni Run on Saturday morning (Sept. 4) at the FHSU Cross Country Course. Hali Mobley topped a field of 30 runners on the women's side, covering the course in 11:47.

Alumni runner Jackie Jamison was the only runner to break up a sweep by the FHSU varsity of the top five placings. Jamison was just six seconds back of Mobley in 11:53.

Amie Algrim was the second varsity runner to cross the line and only other runner to cover the two-mile course in under 12 minutes. She finished in a time of 11:59. Gentry Linscott was fourth in 12:07. Gipsy Bird finished fifth in 12:11. Renee Simon completed the team scoring for the varsity, finishing sixth in 12:14.

Next action is scheduled for Friday, September 10 at the Trojan Invitational in Colby, Kan.
