The Fort Hays State women's track and field team earned United States Track and Field/Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team honors for 2012. There were 83 schools to earn the distinction in NCAA Division II. Schools with cumulative GPAs of 3.0 or higher earn this honor. The FHSU women had a cumulative GPA of 3.43 as a team.
