Cory Keehn has been named Athlete of the Week after his performance at the Woody Greeno Invitational for the Fort Hays State men's cross country team. As a team, the Tigers placed fourth out of 35 teams and were second overall out of Division II programs behind Colorado Mines.

Keehn, a sophomore from Soldier, Kan., led the Tigers with a ninth place overall finish and was the third-best Division II time at 25:09 in the 8k race.

The Tigers placed fourth with 143 points. Keehn, Alex Hendee, Tanner Christensen, Jonny Bernasky and Chris Ramgard all scored for FHSU in the meet.
