Gadwood, a senior from Shawnee, Kan., had a huge night catching the football for the Tigers in the 38-27 loss against Washburn on Saturday night in Hays.

Gadwood caught 9 passes for 103 yards to help lead the Tigers in compiling 304 yards through the air. He is the first tight end in the Fort Hays State Division II history to have over 100 yards receiving in a game.

Returning after a junior season which saw him earn honorable mention all-conference honors at tight end, Gadwood is currently the Tigers 2nd leading receiver. So far he has 19 receptions for 260 yards and 1 touchdown.
