Katelyn Edwards averaged 19.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.5 blocked shots per game in a pair of wins last week at home for FHSU. She scored a season-high 24 points in an 84-78 win against Central Oklahoma on Wednesday, then scored 14 points in a 62-55 win against Missouri Southern on Saturday.

Edwards was 6-of-9 from the field and 12-of-13 at the free-throw line against UCO. In that game she was a perfect 9-of-9 from the free-throw line in the second half, which included what turned out to be the game-winning free-throws with 14 seconds left to break a 78-78 tie. She was 5-of-13 from the field and 4-of-4 at the free-throw line against MSSU. Edwards has reached double figures in scoring in 17 of the 19 games for FHSU this season.
