Katelyn Edwards averaged a double-double for the week in points (14.0 per game) and rebounds (13.0 per game) while helping the Tigers go 2-0 in MIAA play. Edwards played 34.0 minutes per game and shot 52.9 percent from the field (9-of-17). Additionally, the senior hit on 10 of her 14 free throw attempts and dished out seven assists. Edwards crashed the boards on the offensive and defensive ends, pulling down 13 on both halves of the court. Against No. 3 Emporia State, Edwards had her fifth double-double (20 points, 12 rebounds) of the season to help FHSU win by 15. Against Washburn, the senior tallied 14 rebounds and eight points, just missing the double-double mark en route to the team's win.
