FHSU Athletics

Hammeke appeared in two games for FHSU over the weekend against Northwest Missouri State. He pitched 3.1 innings, faced 11 batters and did not allow a hit or run in relief. He earned a win in 3.0 innings of relief in the final game of the series, entering in the eighth trailing 11-8. Hammeke worked a pair of 1-2-3 innings to allow FHSU to get the game tied in the ninth and force extra innings. In the 10th he hit one batter after retiring seven straight, but followed that with a pair of ground ball outs to keep the Bearcats scoreless over the final three innings. He moved to 2-0 on the season with the win.
