Whitten led the Tigers in kills and tied for the team lead in digs this past weekend in the Tiger/Savage Storm Classic in Oklahoma. She averaged 3.88 kills per set and 4.29 digs per set.

Whitten had four double-doubles in kills and digs, helping the Tigers finish 3-1 for the week. She had 13 kills and 11 digs against Southeastern Oklahoma State in a three-set win, then 17 kills and 17 digs against Southern Nazarene in a four-set win on Friday. On Saturday, she had 18 kills and 20 digs in a five-set win over East Central, then 18 kills and 25 digs in a five-set loss to undefeated Cameron. In the win over East Central, she produced five of her nine service aces for the week.
