Albert produced 269 yards of total offense in a 27-24 win over No. 13 ranked Emporia State. He rushed for 151 yards and threw for 118. Albert had a hand in all 75 yards of Fort Hays State's game-winning touchdown drive, capped with a 20-yard touchdown pass from Albert to Evan Jennings with 52 seconds remaining. On the drive, he threw for 72 yards and rushed for three, going into a stiff wind.
