Carly Heim made 7-of-8 free throws down the stretch against Central Missouri to help the Tigers hold on to defeat the Jennies last Thursday (Jan. 5) before providing a spark off the bench to carry FHSU past Southwest Baptist on Saturday (Jan. 7). The sophomore led the team in both rebounds (seven) and assists (three) against the Bearcats, adding eight points and three steals. The guard averaged 7.5 points per game and six rebounds per contest last week, second-best on the team. Heim is a native of Hoxie, Kan. where she competed at Hoxie High School.
