Derek Bixenman posted an NCAA Division II provisional mark in the decathlon at the West Texas A&M Classic and Multi, totaling 6,437 points to finish second. The junior was the top finisher in three events, including clearing the 6-4.25 bar in the high jump and recording a toss of 173-11 in the javelin throw. Bixenman currently sits in 12th in the DII standings.
