Layne Bieberle recorded the second 100-yard receiving game of his career and produced 135 all-purpose yards in a 35-6 FHSU win over No. 13 ranked Central Missouri in Hays. He had 107 receiving yards on four catches, averaging 26.8 yards per catch. He also averaged 14 yards per punt return with 28 yards on two attempts. Bieberle caught two touchdown passes from Jacob Mezera in the third quarter to give FHSU plenty of breathing room, taking the score from 21-6 to 35-6. The first was a 71-yard reception down the sideline that he caught in stride, scoring at the 8:45 mark of the quarter, then five minutes later had a 7-yard catch over the middle to help extend Fort Hays State's lead to 29.
