Grant Holmes helped the Tigers to a 2-2 record over the holidays as he shot 11-of-13 (.846) from the field, 3-of-4 from three-point range and a perfect 10-of-10 from the free throw line. He averaged 8.8 points over the four games while grabbing a total 12 rebounds and dropping five assists to his teammates. Holmes scored 15 (one point shy of tying career-high) in the Tigers losing effort against the Southwest Baptist Bearcats on Saturday (Jan. 6).
