Nicole Lubbers helped the Tiger women’s tennis team to a 6-3 victory over Hastings College in their spring opener on Saturday (Mar. 3). Lubbers and her teammate Haley Weidemann defeated Megan Waterhouse and Lyndsay Ruane 8-2 in doubles, and Lubbers defeated Ruane again in singles play (8-2) to start the spring season 2-0.
