Yessenia Gonzales helped the Tiger women's cross country team complete the Chile Pepper Festival in Fayetteville, Ark. on Saturday (Sept. 22) to a 17th-place finish as a team. Gonzales finished 28th individually. It was the best 5K time of her collegiate career, topping her previous best at the distance by nearly 40 seconds. She finished seventh among Division II runners in the 5K race.
