Marcus Cooper helped the Tigers to a 2-1 record last week with victories over McPherson College (Dec. 30) and Southwest Baptist (Jan. 5), averaging 13 points and 3.7 rebounds across three contests (including a defeat to Central Missouri, Jan. 3). In the victory over the Bulldogs, Cooper provided 19 points and two rebounds, while shooting 7-for-12 (58.3%) from the floor and 4-for-8 from 3-point range. In the loss to the Mules, Cooper scored 10 points while grabbing five rebounds and providing three assists in 26 minutes of work. On Saturday (Jan. 5), Cooper scored 10 points, picked up four rebounds, two steals and one assist in the 73-58 victory over the Bearcats.
