Madison Mittie helped the Tiger women's basketball team earn a spot in the Central Regional Championship after providing a spark off the bench all weekend with 11 points, six rebounds three assists and one steal in the quarterfinal win over Pittsburg State. On Saturday (March 16), Mittie scored six points and grabbed three rebounds along with a steal in the semifinal win over MSU Moorhead. In the title contest, Mittie earned the first bucket for the struggling Tiger offense in the first quarter against Southwestern Oklahoma State, finishing with four points, one rebounds, one assist and one block in her aggressive energetic effort for the Tigers.
