Abigail Stewart helped the women's Cross Country team take first place overall at the Emporia State Invitational (Sept. 27). Stewart finished in 2nd place overall with a time of 20:14.1. Her time, along with teammates Brooke Navarro and Carson Pierce, was the difference in a tiebreaker with Rockhurst and the team won their 2nd straight meet. Stewart and the rest of the women's team will be at home for their next meet on Oct. 12 for the FHSU Open.
