Ricardo Yeverino has been named the Athlete of the Week after scoring four goals in the FHSU men's soccer teams two games, both wins.The junior forward first scored two goals against Doane College in a 4-2 win. Yeverino scored the first and last goals in the win, his fourth and fifth of the season.

Yeverino added two more goals in a 3-1 victory over West Texas A&M. The junior scored the first two goals, both within the first 15 minutes of the match. The goals were his team-leading sixth and seventh of the season.

The Tigers have won three straight matches and have improved to 4-2 on the season. In their three straight wins, Yeverino has tallied two goals in each victory.
