Ricky Jacques earned Athlete of the Week for his performance in a 24-21 win over host Lincoln on Saturday. The senior linebacker totaled a career-high 18 tackles and one sack. The Wichita, Kan. native had nine tackles coming into the Lincoln game.

The Tigers won their second football game of the year against Lincoln. Fort Hays pulled out to an early 14-0 lead and held on for the 24-21 win. The football team is now 2-3 on the season and 2-2 in the MIAA.
