The Fort Hays State women's basketball team will look to avenge an earlier season loss and extend their current win streak to six games on Thursday (Feb. 10) when they visit Truman. The Bulldogs defeated the FHSU 54-45 earlier this season in Hays.
The Lady Tigers are currently the hottest team in the MIAA, winning five consecutive games after a stretch where they dropped eight out of nine contests. They have pulled into a tie with Central Missouri for sixth place in the conference standings and are just a half game ahead of Truman and Missouri Western.
Fort Hays State has been getting major contributions over the past few games from

Bechard, a junior from Holton, Kan., has also been impressive lately, scoring in double figures in six straight games. Included in that was a season-high 27 points in the Lady Tigers' last road game, a win at Nebraska-Omaha. In the upset win over No. 11 Washburn, she led the Lady Tigers with 18 points. Bechard is the second-leading scorer for FHSU, averaging 10.4 points per game.
