The Fort Hays State men's soccer team returns to action on Wednesday evening (Sept. 14) at home against Doane College. The game is set for 6 pm. The Tigers are coming off a road swing where they went 1-1 with a loss at Northeastern State and a win at Newman. The Tigers are 2-2 overall entering the game, while Doane is 1-2 overall.

 

The Tigers have found goals hard to come by early in the season with three of their four games ending in a score of 1-0. The Tigers were on the short end in two of those contests. Fort Hays State broke through with three goals in their last match against Newman University, two by the team's leading goal scorer Ricardo Yeverino.

 

Yeverino has three of the four goals for the Tigers so far this year. He scored the game winner in overtime in the season opener against Adams State. Diego Cabral is the only other Tiger with a goal, scoring the go-ahead goal against Newman this past Sunday.
