Box Score The No. 15 Fort Hays State men's soccer team scored two second half goals to push them to a 2-1 win over Harding on Saturday afternoon (Sept. 22) at the FHSU Soccer Stadium in Hays. The Tigers upped their record to 7-1 and 3-0 in the MIAA, while Harding dropped to 3-4 and 1-2 in the MIAA.

Carlos Linares scored his first career Tiger goal on a header in the 49th minute to put the Tigers up 1-0. Fellow defender
Patrick Brennan played in the ball to Linares for the assist.
FHSU doubled its lead to 2-0 in the 64th minute when
Michael Cole scored, his fourth of the season, after making a nice run and
Austin Clifton found him with a pass for his fourth assist.
The Bison cut the Tiger lead in half on a goal in the 70th minute when Adam Borsheim cleaned up in front of the goal after FHSU goalkeeper
Ryan Pakieser couldn't control the ball.
The Tigers lead in every offensive statistical category, holding advantages in shots (20-3), shots on goal (9-1) and corner kicks (11-1).
Pakieser got the win in goal, allowing the one goal. He is now 5-1 on the season.
Fort Hays State continues its homestand with an MIAA match against Lindenwood on Thursday (Sept. 27) at 7 p.m. at the FHSU Soccer Stadium.
