Box Score The 18th ranked Fort Hays State University men's soccer team closed out the MIAA portion of its schedule with a 2-0 victory over Southern Nazarene on Friday evening.

Daniel Peralta paced the Tigers (11-3-2, 6-1-2 MIAA) with two goals in the contest. Â
Jaccob Rangel and
Diego Cabral each had assists.

SNU (2-16, 1-8 MIAA) fired six shots in the game, four of which were on goal – all saved by FHSU's
Jason Babyak.

Tied at the half, FHSU would answer within four minutes of play resuming. Peralta took a pass from Rangel and netted his fourth goal of the season, giving the Tigers a 1-0 advantage.

Peralta would find his fifth goal of the year at 65:57, giving an insurance goal to the Tigers with just under 25 minutes of action remaining.Â

The Tigers travel to Canyon, Texas for the regular season finale on Sunday (Nov. 3) to battle West Texas A&M in a rematch from earlier in the week. The Buffs defeated FHSU, 2-1, at home on Tuesday, Oct. 29.
