The Fort Hays State women's basketball team opens its 2013-14 season this week in Alva, Okla. with a game against Northwestern Oklahoma State on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 6 p.m.
Fort Hays State is coming off its most successful season under head coach
Tony Hobson, winning 22 games and breaking the 20-win threshhold for the second consecutive season. Â Hobson ended 2012-13 with 494 career wins, just six shy of the 500-win mark.
The Tigers, picked fourth by the media and coaches in the MIAA Preseason Polls, return two All-MIAA players from a year ago in First-Team/All-Defensive Team/Defensive Player of the Year
