Fort Hays State, ranked No. 25 in the NABC Division II Poll, participates in the Division II portion of the CBE Classic on Tuesday (Nov. 26) at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo. The Tigers take on Rockhurst University at 2 pm. FHSU enters the game at 5-0 overall, while Rockhurst is 2-2.
The Tigers complete a run of six games against in-region opponents on Tuesday. FHSU has five Division II in-region wins to its credit already this year. The Tigers have scored at least 89 points in four of their five wins this year. FHSU is averaging 91.8 points per game.
Dwayne Brunson leads the Tigers at 21.2 points and 11.2 rebounds per game. He has recorded four straight double-doubles in points and rebounds with a total of 104 points over the last four games. He reached at least 20 points in all four of those games.
Carson Konrade is coming off a career-high 26 points against Oklahoma-Panhandle State and averaged 23 points over the last two games after 20 against Newman. Konrade is second on the team in scoring at 17.4 points per game.
Craig Nicholson is third on the team in scoring at 16.4 points per game. He reached double figures in scoring in each game this year and leads the MIAA in assists per game at 9.4. He has two double-doubles in points and assists this year.
