The Fort Hays State women's basketball team hosts Newman in a mid-week contest on Tuesday, Nov. 26 at 7 p.m. inside Gross Memorial Coliseum.

The Tigers are 3-0 on the season and lead the MIAA in several catagories, including scoring offense (93.7 ppg) and defense (46.0 ppg) and scoring margin (+47.7).

Senior Katelyn Edwards is averaging a double-double in points and rebounds this season, with 17.3 and 10.7 per game.  On the defensive end, junior Kate Lehman has swatted 20 opponent shot attempts and is averaging 6.67 blocks per game.

Newman is 2-3 on the season with wins over Central Christian and Texas-Permian Basin.
