Fort Hays State University hosts the University of Saint Mary on Monday, Dec. 16 in a non-conference matchup at home.  Game time is slated for 7 p.m., inside Gross Memorial Coliseum.

Monday's contest will mark just the third time Fort Hays State and University of Saint Mary has met up, and the first time under head coach Tony Hobson.  FHSU leads the overall series, 2-0, and last defeated the Spires in 2007-08 in Hays, Kan., by a score of 78-57.

Last time out, the Tigers knocked off MIAA foe Missouri Western last Saturday, 67-53, in St. Joseph, Mo.  The Tigers shot 39.7 percent from the field, and 70.4 percent from the charity stripe while limiting MWSU to just 26.4 percent on field goals.  Kate Lehman notched her fourth straight double-double in the game, finishing with 24 points (a season-high) and 12 rebounds.  Saturday's win was also career win No. 500 for head coach Tony Hobson.
