Sixth-seeded Fort Hays State faces second-seeded Central Missouri in the semifinals of the MIAA Tournament in Kansas City on Saturday (Mar. 9). Tipoff is set for 8:15 pm from Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Mo. Fort Hays State enters the game at 22-6 overall, while Central Missouri enters at 23-4 overall.

The Lady Tigers are coming off a 61-42 win in the quarterfinals on Friday night, which marked the first-ever win for the FHSU women in a quarterfinal game at the MIAA Tournament. The winner of the game will meet either No. 1 seed Washburn or No. 4 seed Emporia State in the championship game Sunday.

Fort Hays State won the only meeting with Central Missouri earlier this year in Hays by 45 points when both teams were in the national rankings. Central Missouri is currently ranked No. 13 in the nation.
