Sporting a three-match winning streak, the Fort Hays State University men's soccer team hosts Southern Nazarene and Newman University in its home opener weekend, Sept. 20 and 22, respectively.

FHSU (3-1) will face off with SNU (1-3) on Friday at 7 p.m., before taking on NU (0-3) in a Sunday matchup, scheduled for 6 p.m.

SNU's Crimson Storm picked up their first win of the season last week at Rogers State, in which goalie Tyler Wythe picked up his first shutout of the season. Wythe has played the entire 260 minutes of game action for the team and has allowed 16 goals. Edgar Pineda (two goals, one assist) and Blake Rodgers (one goal, three assists) are team-leaders with five points.

The Jets, winless in the early season, are led offensively by Noel Torres and Adam Sawyer, who each have two points on one goal. In the net, Steven Hamersky has played all 225 minutes, saving 19 shots while allowing six goals.Â
