Coming off its first-ever win over a top-five ranked team in its NCAA Division II history, the Fort Hays State women's basketball team hosts in-state rival Washburn on Saturday (Feb. 1) at Gross Memorial Coliseum. Tip is set for 2 pm. FHSU enters at 14-4, 7-4 in the MIAA, while Washburn is 13-5, 8-3 in the MIAA.

Washburn enters Saturday just one game up on Fort Hays State in the conference standings. The Ichabods are currently tied for third with Missouri Southern, but a win by FHSU on Saturday would pull Washburn back into a tie with the Tigers. FHSU is currently alone in sixth in the conference standings, but just two games back of the conference lead shared by No. 3 ranked Emporia State and No. 12 ranked Central Missouri at 9-2.

Fort Hays State had three double-double efforts in the 72-57 win over No. 3 ranked Emporia State on Thursday in Hays. Katelyn Edwards led in scoring with 20 points, while adding 12 rebounds. Kate Lehman pulled down the most rebounds in the game for FHSU with 14 and added 12 points. Tera Ingalsbe, making her first start of the season went for 15 points and 10 rebounds. The Tigers dominated one of the nation's top rebounding teams on Thursday by a margin of 17 (59-42).

Lehman continues to average a double-double for the season at 15.6 points and 11.3 rebounds. Chelsea Mason averages 13.4 points per game and Edwards averages 13.3 per game.
