The Tiger women's basketball team welcomes Central Oklahoma to Gross Memorial Coliseum on Wednesday (Feb. 26) for a mid-week game with postseason implications.  Game time is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.

FHSU (17-7, 10-7 MIAA) is guaranteed a finish no lower than sixth in the conference, but is still in the running for a first-round bye.  Currently in fourth, Missouri Southern (11-6 MIAA) is one game ahead of the Tigers, while Washburn (11-7 MIAA) is a half-game ahead.  Lindenwood, in seventh place, has just one game remaining and is a game and a half back of the Tigers, at 9-9 in the conference.  The top four seeds earn a bye to Kansas City, Mo., in the MIAA Championships.

Junior Kate Lehman has posted five straight double-doubles and is averaging a double-double in points (17.1 per game) and rebounds (11.1 per game) this season with an NCAA-leading 5.17 blocks per game.  Lehman has one triple-double (Jan. 9, 2014 versus Lindenwood) and 16 double-doubles this season.  Additionally, Lehman has come dangerously close to four additional triple-doubles, falling short by just one block on three occasions, and one point and a block on another occasion.

UCO (11-13, 6-11 MIAA) is led on offense by Jill Bryan's 13.4 points per game, while Olivia Mason is averaging 6.9 rebounds per contest.  UCO is tied for ninth in the conference standings with Northwest Missouri, and has two games remaining.

Fans in attendance will be able to register for a chance to win concert tickets to see George Straight, beginning at the start of the women's game (5:30 p.m.).  Registration near Gate 2 is FREE, and the winner is announced at the men's halftime.  The drawing is sponsored by the FHSU Foundation.
