No. 25 Fort Hays State University hits the road this weekend with a three-game win streak, set for a contest with No. 7 Emporia State on Saturday (Feb. 8).  Tip off is scheduled for 3:30 p.m., in Emporia, Kan.

Last time out, FHSU took down Nebraska-Kearney in impressive fashion, defeating the Lopers 85-67 in a road game.  Kate Lehman narrowly missed her second triple-double of the season, finishing with a career-best 33 points in addition to 13 rebounds and nine blocks.  Chelsea Mason got back into the double-digit scoring column, hitting 5-of-10 from long range for 19 points.

Saturday's contest will be the 71st meeting all-time between the schools, and though Emporia State holds a 43-27 advantage in the series, FHSU snapped a 15-game losing streak to the Lady Hornets last Thursday (Jan. 30).  That 72-57 victory was also the first ever Top 5 win in FHSU's NCAA Division II history, and the start of the current three-game winning streak for the Tigers.

Lehman is averaging 16.4 points and 11.1 rebounds per game, and has 105 blocks on the season.  Chelsea Mason's 13.5 points per game is second highest on the team, while Tera Ingalsbe (4.2), Paige Lunsford (3.0) and Keriann Shaw (3.3) are pulling down at least three rebounds per game.
