Fort Hays State Women's Basketball plays its first two home games of the 2015-16 season this weekend (Nov. 20-21) at Gross Memorial Coliseum in Hays. The Tigers, ranked No. 10 in the nation, are off to a 2-0 start and take on St. Cloud State and Regis this weekend. FHSU faces St. Cloud State Friday at 7 pm and Regis on Saturday at 4 pm.
Pittsburg State joins Fort Hays State as the other team involved in the four-team Tiger Classic. The Gorillas also enter the weekend at 2-0 after a pair of wins over NSIC opponents Minot State and University of Mary. Mikaela Burgess leads the Gorillas in scoring so far this year at 15 points per game, while Kylie Gafford is close behind at 14.5 points per game.
St. Cloud State will be playing its first two games of the regular season. The Huskies went 16-12 overall last year. Regis enters the weekend at 1-1 overall. The Rangers fell in their season opener at home to Newman, but bounced back for a win the next day over Oklahoma Christian.
