Fort Hays State Men's Basketball looks to bounce back from a loss on Thursday night when it faces Pittsburg State on Saturday (Dec. 3) in Pittsburg, Kan. Tipoff is set for 3:30 pm from John Lance Arena. The Tigers are 4-3 overall, 0-1 in the MIAA, while the Gorillas are 1-7 overall, 0-1 in the MIAA.

Fort Hays State enjoyed a lead of six points in the first half on Thursday night at Missouri Southern, but fell just short of a comeback after trailing the entire second half. A pair of 3-point attempts before the buzzer were off the mark for the Tigers as they nearly tied the game in the late going. The Tigers look to bounce back from the loss and even their conference record.
Rob Davis moved into a tie for the MIAA lead in scoring by finishing with 27 points on Thursday. He is now averaging right on 25 points per game and has scored 20 or more in the six games.
Hadley Gillum also averages double figures at 14.7 points.
JaQuan Smith leads the team in rebounding at 8.3 per game, while also scoring 8.3 points per game, and
Kyler Kinnamon leads the team in assists at 3.4 per game.
Pittsburg State enters Saturday on a five-game losing streak. The Gorillas fell on Thursday night at home to Nebraska-Kearney by 13 points.
