Fort Hays State Men's Basketball looks for its fourth consecutive win when it takes on Southwest Baptist on Saturday (Jan. 7) at 4 pm. The Tigers are now 9-4 overall, 3-2 in the MIAA, while the Bearcats enter at 8-5 overall and 1-3 in the MIAA.
 
Fort Hays State is coming off a late comeback win against Central Missouri on Thursday night in Hays. The Tigers slipped past the Mules 74-73 and jumped to fifth in the MIAA standings. Excluding an exhibition loss at Colorado, the Tigers enter on a three-game win streak. They sit just one game back of a three-way tie for second between Nebraska-Kearney, Missouri Southern, and Central Oklahoma.
 
Rob Davis scored over 30 points for the fifth time this season with 34 points against Central Missouri on Thursday. He leads the MIAA in scoring at 24.2 points per game. Hadley Gillum added his fourth double-double of the season with 15 points and 13 rebounds.
 
Southwest Baptist is coming off a loss at Nebraska-Kearney on Thursday evening. They are led in scoring by a pair of forwards, Brian Patterson at 12.4 points per game, and Logan Hovey at 11.7 per game.
