Fort Hays State Men's Basketball returns to the court on Saturday night (Nov. 25) against Sterling College in Hays. The men are scheduled to tip off at 7:30 pm, following the women's game at 5:30. FHSU is look for consecutive wins for the first time this season, entering the game at 3-2 overall. Sterling is 2-6 overall.

The Tigers are coming off a 71-point win over Kansas Christian on Tuesday night by a score of 119-48. FHSU was just four points shy of the single-game scoring record in program history. Eight Tigers reached double figures in scoring in that game, led by
Hadley Gillum with 14.

Gillum is the top scorer on the team averaging 16.2 points per game. He scored 50 points over the last two games, including a career-high 36 at Colorado School of Mines.
Brady Werth (14.6),
Marcus Cooper (10.4), and
Trey O'Neil (10.0) are also averaging double figures in scoring for the season. Gillum is the top rebounder at 7.4 per game, while
Kyler Kinnamon leads the team in assists averaging 5.4 per game.

Sterling College enters the game on a 6-game losing streak after opening the year 2-0. Sterling finished the 2016-17 season at 7-23 overall. The Warriors are under the guidance of 12
th-year head coach Dean Jaderston. JaMiah Windom-Haynes is their top scorer at 12 points per game.

This will be the final tune-up for FHSU before opening conference play on Thursday night next week in Hays against Missouri Southern.
