The Fort Hays State men's soccer team wraps up its regular season schedule with a non-conference match this weekend. The Tigers host the University of Mary this Saturday (Nov. 4) for Senior Night. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.
 
The Tigers enter the weekend at 10-5-2 overall. They currently lead the MIAA standings and have clinched at least a share of the conference title. The Tigers will win the title outright if Northeastern State loses or draws at least one of its matches this weekend. Fort Hays State sits in second in the Central Region rankings behind the RiverHawks. FHSU defeated the Marauders earlier this season as they left Bismarck, N.D. with a 2-0 victory under their belt.
 
The Tigers offense continues to roll as they have outscored their opponents 41-20 on the year. They rank seventh in Division II in total assists with 39 on the year and are tied for eighth in assists per match (2.29). Senior Derick Gonzalez continues to lead the offense as he leads the nation in assists per game (.82) and total assists (14), sits in a tie for 17th in the country in total points (32) and 19th in points per match (1.88).
 
The Marauders have experience playing at FHSU Soccer Stadium, as they were here previously this season to play Oklahoma Baptist and Southern Nazarene in two non-conference, neutral site matches. They travel back to Hays, this time to play the Tigers, with a 6-7-1 overall record. Joel McIlroy leads the offense with six goals, 12 points and 13 shots on goal on the year. The Marauders are anchored defensively by goalkeeper Ludvig Rhodin. He has started in all 14 matches this season and has a 2.19 goals against average.
