In the first-ever meeting between No. 17 FHSU and Augustana, the two programs end the match with a 0-0 draw. After 110 minutes played leading to the tie, the Tigers now hold a 2-0-1 record three contests into the 2017 season.
Both teams had multiple close opportunities to get on the board with the Tigers ending with nine shots and five on target, while Augustana aimed for 14 shots with nine hitting near goal.
Eden Stoddard, who has led the Tigers thus far into the season with three goals, once again pushed the most offense for FHSU as she aimed for a team-high three shots on goal in her 59 minutes on the pitch.
Savannah McClease was close behind as she recorded two shots in the contest. Senior Ellie Knowles for the Vikings led all players on the field with a game-high five shots.

Kristen Thompson who collected nine saves in 14 shots faced to lead the two goalies in the match. Thompson now has 13 saves to her name three contests into her senior season.
The Tigers will be back on this same field Sunday (Sept. 10) at 2 p.m. to take on host Minot State as they try to bring back a win to Hays.Â
