Fort Hays State looks to jump back into the win column on Saturday evening (Nov. 24) when it hosts Sterling College at 5 pm in Hays. The Tigers enter at 2-3 overall, while the Warriors are 1-3 overall.
Fort Hays State looks to bounce back from a 76-75 loss at Newman University on Tuesday evening. FHSU took the lead with 13 seconds remaining in the game, but Newman jumped back ahead on a pair of free throws with just under five seconds remaining in the game. The Tigers are 0-3 away from home this season, away and neutral sites combined.
The Tigers have won the last 14 meetings with Sterling College. Last year the Tigers defeated the Warriors 92-58 in Hays.
Trey O'Neil led the Tigers in scoring that game with 20 points.
This game marks the first of a six-game home stand for the Tigers. FHSU has one more non-conference tune up on Tuesday night (Nov. 27) before jumping into MIAA play on December 4.
