Fort Hays State (13-9, 6-7 MIAA) at
Northeastern State (7-15, 3-10 MIAA)

Thursday, February 7 - 7:30 pm
Tahlequah, Okla. - NSU Event Center

Fort Hays State looks to end its road woes on Thursday evening when it plays at Northeastern State in Tahlequah, Okla. The Tigers have dropped their last four contests on the road, going without a win outside Gross Memorial Coliseum since December 9. FHSU enters at 13-9 overall, 6-7 in the MIAA, while NSU is 7-15 overall and 3-10 in the MIAA. Game time is set for 7:30 pm at the NSU Event Center, following the women's contest at 5:30 pm.

The Tigers are just 1-6 in true road contests this season. Eleven of the 13 wins for the Tigers this season have been at home, and they also have one neutral site win. Northeastern State is 3-7 inside its home arena this year.

Fort Hays State owns a 7-5 lead in the all-time series with Northeastern State. The Tigers won the last meeting between the teams, a 61-53 decision in Hays in the opening round of the MIAA Tournament last season. However, the Tigers dropped the last meeting between the teams in Tahlequah, a 66-60 decision last year.

Brady Werth led the Tigers in scoring in both contests last week at home, coming off a four-game absence due to illness. Werth averages 11.6 points per game. Hadley Gillum continues to lead the Tigers in scoring at 16.5 points per game, but he did not reach double figures in either contest last week. Gillum was the high-point man for the Tigers in last year's meeting in Tahlequah, scoring 15 points.

Jamir Andrews is the only Northeastern State player averaging double figures in scoring at 15.3 points per game. Despite being 3-10 in MIAA play, the RiverHawks have gone 3-3 in their last six conference games following an 0-7 start in the MIAA.
