The 18th-ranked Fort Hays State men's soccer team begins their six-match road trip with a two-game swing out on the west coast this weekend. The Tigers will face Point Loma University on Thursday (Sept. 13) before heading north up the coast to take on Biola University on Saturday (Sept. 15). FHSU carries a 3-1 overall record after the first two weeks of the season.
The Tigers are coming off a week in which they fell to No. 2 Midwestern State (now No. 1 in the United Soccer Coaches Poll), 2-1 in a neutral-site match in Shawnee, Okla. (Sept. 6), before defeating Metro State in Hays on Sunday (Sept. 9), 4-1.

This will be the Tigers and Sea Lions first meeting all-time. PLNU enters the contest at 1-2 overall. Junior midfielder Paul Sweet leads the Sea Lions with two goals and four points on the year. Freshman Andrew Kleszewski leads the squad with two assists this season. The Sea Lions return 11 starters from a year ago, coming off a 14-3-2 overall record and an 11-0-2 Pacific West record with a second place conference finish, their best finish in program history.
