HAYS, Kan. – Fort Hays State Men's Basketball announced the signing of Kyle Grill for the 2022-23 season. Grill is a 6-foot, 5-inch guard and is currently a senior at Maize High School in Maize, Kan.
 
Grill was a KBCA All-State Second Team selection in Class 5A last year, helping his team to the Kansas Class 5A State Championship in 2020-21. He also received all-state accolades from the Topeka Capital-Journal and the Wichita Eagle. He was an All-Wichita Large School First Team selection by Vype and also an All-AVCTL First Team selection. Grill averaged 11.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game, while shooting 50 percent beyond the 3-point line, 58 percent overall, and 80 percent at the free-throw line during his junior season.
