The No. 18 ranked FHSU men's soccer team will compete in only one match this week as they travel to Claremore, Oklahoma to take on No. 23 ranked Rogers State on Saturday (Sept 25.) at 1 pm. The Tigers come into this matchup at 3-2-1, while the Hillcats are 4-1-1 overall. This will be the first conference match for the Tigers.
The Tigers are fresh off of a win in Wichita Falls, Texas where they upset No. 10 ranked Colorado Mesa by a score of 2-1. Viktor Robertsson and Michael Samuel each netted their first goals of the season. Forward Blake Arndt still leads the Tigers in scoring after his two-goal performance against Rockhurst with four points. The Tigers have outscored their opponents 7-6 so far this season. Keeper Kieran Brown has been solid in goal this season with 29 saves so far.
Rogers State is fresh off of a golden goal victory against UT Tyler in double overtime. They have outscored their opponents 10-5 this season, while averaging 12 shots per game.
