Fort Hays State Men's Soccer will take on Rogers State in the semifinals of the GAC/MIAA Tournament on Thursday (Nov. 3). Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. in Bethany, Oklahoma between the No. 3 seed Tigers and No. 2 seed Hillcats.

The Tigers (8-4-6) finished third in the GAC/MIAA standings after playing to a scoreless draw with the Hillcats in their regular season finale. Blake Arndt continues to lead FHSU in scoring with six goals, followed by Callum Frogson with five.

The Hillcats (9-3-6) defeated Newman 5-0 in its regular season finale, which helped them to secure second place in the conference standings behind Southern Nazarene. FHSU and RSU have already met twice this season, both matches ending in draws (2-2 and 0-0). The Tigers and Hillcats are meeting in the semifinals of the conference tournament for a second straight year. FHSU took last year's matchup by a score of 1-0.

The winner of this match will move on to face the winner of the other semifinal match featuring top-seeded Southern Nazarene and fourth-seeded Northeastern State. Fort Hays State is the only team of the four that did not suffer a loss against another team in the tournament field. FHSU finished 2-0 against SNU, 1-0-1 against NSU, and 0-0-2 against RSU.
