Fort Hays State Men's Soccer begins conference play this week when they travel to Claremore, Okla. to take on Rogers State on Thursday (Sep. 15) at 7 p.m. before returning home to host Newman on Saturday (Sep. 17) with a 3 p.m. kickoff. Both FHSU and Rogers State are receiving votes in the latest United Soccer Coaches Top 25 Poll.

Fort Hays State (2-2-2) played to a 2-2 draw with Texas A&M-International at the MSU Classic in their most recent match. The Tigers have scored seven goals in six matches this season and are averaging a .446 shots on goal percentage. Callum Frogson and Tre Smith continue to lead the team in scoring with two goals each.

Rogers State (2-2-2) lost 2-0 to UT Tyler in its most recent match. The Hillcats have also scored seven goals this season and post a .381 shots on goal percentage. The Tigers lead the all-time series 4-1-3 after a 1-0 victory in Bethany, Okla. last season in the semifinals of the GAC/MIAA Tournament.

Newman (0-5-1) played to a scoreless draw with Colorado Christian in their most recent match. The Jets have three goals in six matches and average a .484 shots on goal percentage. Fort Hays State leads the all-time series with Newman 7-1 after winning both meetings last season, 4-3 and 5-1.
