HAYS, Kan. - The Fort Hays State Tigers faced off against the Rogers State Hillcats on Saturday night (Oct. 14) in a match that saw the No. 22 ranked Hillcats emerge victorious with a 7-0 scoreline.

To start the match, the Tigers had a few opportunities on goal, but could not convert. Rogers State managed to secure a 2-0 lead by halftime with goals from George Robinson and Trindon Turner. The second half saw an even more dominant display from Rogers State. George Robinson continued his scoring spree, adding another two goals for a hat trick as the Hillcats scored five times after halftime.
FHSU was able to place six shots on goal in the match, led by two from
Agustin Ayala.
With the win, Rogers State moved to 8-3-2 overall and 5-2 in conference action. The Tigers are now 4-6-2 overall with a GAC record of 3-2-2. Fort Hays State plays their next match at home against Ouachita Baptist on Thursday (Oct. 19).
