The tournament is being held inside historic Municipal Auditorium in downtown Kansas City for the 21st time this season, with games being played March 6-10.
Â
Tickets can be purchased in the FHSU Athletic Office (Office 138 of Cunningham Hall) on the campus of Fort Hays State University during business hours (8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. weekdays) or by calling the office at (785) 628-4050. The tickets will also be available for purchase at Gate 1 during Fort Hays State's final five regular season home contests (February 8, 10, 22, 24 & March 1).
Â
Games take place over five consecutive days, with seeds seven through 10 playing opening round games on Wednesday, March 6. The second day (March 7) will feature the top two seeds against Wednesday's winners. Quarterfinal games on Friday (March 8) will be No. 3 through No. 6 seed matchups. The semifinals will be on Saturday (March 9) and the Championship games will be on Sunday (March 10). This year the women play the afternoon sessions on each of the first four days, and the men will play the evening sessions. Championship Sunday is just one session.
Â
Adult single-session tickets for the tournament are $25 each. Student single-session tickets are $10 each and children ages 6 and under are FREE. Act fast to take advantage of the cost savings, as supplies are limited through the FHSU Athletics Office.
Â
This is the fifth year the conference will have a 10-team format for both women and men, with all games inside of Municipal Auditorium. Fort Hays State was the lone institution that had both men's and women's teams reach the semifinals of the tournament each of the last two seasons.
